A ‘questioned’ document is any signature, mark or handwritten, typewritten document whose source or authenticity is in dispute or is doubtful.
The easy availability and interface of powerful editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat and others, has made the task of creation and manipulation of fraudulent documents an effortless process for perpetrators.
We have forensic experts who can examine and verify all types of handwriting, signatures, and all printed/typed matter involving counterfeiting, obliterations, erasures etc. through careful visual examination and/or advanced chemical analysis of inks and paper in our state-of-the-art forensic laboratory. We then furnish a comprehensive report which contains a detailed description of the evidence submitted for analysis, inspections that the evidence is subjected to, and the results of the examination.
